I should be watching NBC right now but I’m not. I just got done redecorating my apartment and making an awesome slideshow from my adventures in the woods last weekend. I went home last weekend, as I do once a month, and had a great time! My mom and I went hiking in the woods at my grandma’s with the dog, drank some beer with my uncle, and even got in the old paddle boat! We went out to a movie, went out to dinner, went shopping with my little sister, and I even had time left over to see a band with my friends and sing karaoke!

So I’ve been home all week with nothing to do. Got turned down for one of the jobs I applied to last week. It was the one I wanted the most, too. The weather has been really crappy all week and doesn’t look good for the weekend either. Let’s see…what else? Oh yeah, a friend was supposed to visit me from out of town last night but stood me up. Yeah yeah yeah with a side of blah-blah.

I am really excited about the new look in my apartment though! I did a lot of work; got a new comforter set for my bed, got some pretty flowers that I made into a “swag” to go over the window in my bedroom, put the ”old” comforter set on the futon which looks great! Stripped the yellow paint off my pictures frames that go over the futon to match the new color scheme and put new artwork in the other frames to match. Saw a couple vases at the store I want to get and also want to get a new lamp to match. I have an expesensive hobby! (I posted a couple pics here.)

OK now for the really good stuff! Over the river and through the woods to Grandmother’s house we go!
